Today, there is no cure for lupus. All the treatments that doctors offer merely serve to mitigate the symptoms. The Lupus Foundation of America raises money to support the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States through research and programming. I can't wait for the day when doctors can say, "There is a cure for lupus." 

Until then, I am happy to raise funds for the Foundation and participate in the 2024 Lupus Foundation of America's Walk to End Lupus Now® in San Francisco on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
