The fact that you are here and reading these words already means so much to me! I was diagnosed with SLE Lupus back in 2007 and had many years of escalating arthritis, and kidney damage before finally getting relief through SCIENCE- through a clinical trial for Benlysta. Benlysta was the first drug approved specifically for lupus management in over 60 years, and I don’t know where I would be now, if I weren’t a part of that study many years ago.
 I’m very lucky now, my lupus has been in a quiet state and I’ve been medication free for 6 years! I even have a 5 year old miracle who reminds me every day how lucky I am. Not everyone with Lupus is as lucky as me, and I can only hope I maintain this current remission.
