Welcome to TEAM RONDA

AS most of you already know, Ronda fought a hard battle, but she needed to rest. So, on October 6, 2020, she decided to stop her personal battle and rest. But I am asking you as part of TEAM RONDA to please help me keep her vision in sight, which is to find a cure for this cruel disease called Lupus. As of last year, Team Ronda has raised close to $24,000. Our “Walk to End Lupus Now” will be on Saturday, November 11th, 2023.  Check-in time: 5:30, Ceremony: 6:15 with 1 mile walk starting at 6:30. Location: ZooTampa at Saunders Pavilion (1101 W Sligh Ave, Tampa Florida).

Below is Ronda's own words of what this walk meant to her.

“This year is my 9th year in a row to End Lupus on October 10, 2020.
It is hard to believe that it has been 16 years since I was diagnosed with this silent disease after years of trying to find out why wounds I had would not heal. I had heard of lupus before because other family members have different types of the disease, but I never thought I would have it too.

Imagine a day when doctors can say, “There is a cure for lupus.” Until that day though, there is work to be done. That is why I’m taking action in the fight against lupus. Join me as I participate in Lupus Foundation of America’s Walk to End Lupus Now™ in TAMPA to raise critical funds for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States.

So please support me as I work to raise money and awareness to find a cure for Lupus. It is amazing to have such great support of family and friends to help me win this fight. By your support, we can improve the quality of life for all people that are affected by the disease.

Together, we can solve the cruel mystery of lupus. My goal is to raise $2,000.00 this year. Thanks for your support. Over the last 8 years, we have raised together a total of$ 15,808.00.
