Lupus Blows, Theresa Knows!
Last year, as we returned to an IN-PERSON event, LBTK raised just over $19,000, the most we've ever accomplished in one summer, and it placed us in 4th place overall in national fundraising! This year's event will be IN-PERSON on Saturday, October 14th at Chandler Fashion Mall! For the past 26 years, Theresa has been living with lupus, and since 2007, Lupus Blows, Theresa Knows has raised over $156,000 toward lupus research and programs/services that benefit lupus warriors like Theresa. Our goal this year is to set the bar even higher and raise $20,000! We'll have some fun along the way, so be sure to vote in our "fun"draising poll on our team's Facebook group page, which asks "What should Dave do if we raise $20,000 this summer?" - Lupus is a mysterious and misunderstood autoimmune disease. It strikes without warning, affects each person differently, and has no known causes or cure.
