Dear Family and Friends,
To say it's been a crazy year is an understatement. I hope everyone has been staying as safe and healthy as possible!

On a much smaller scale of all the chaos, I didn't feel that it was right to post about fundraising during this past spring. May was Lupus Awareness Month and although I spread awareness and shared facts as usual, I didn't feel right asking for donations when it's been such a difficult time for everybody.

I wasn't able to host the fifth annual 'Nicole's Links for Lupus'. As of now, the plan is to have it next spring but everything is up in the air for now.

The Lupus Foundation of America is trying something different though this year to keep everybody connected and to continue our fundraising efforts! I am so excited to be leading a team for the 10.10.20 VIRTUAL Walk to End Lupus Now! This year for the first time ever, the entire country will be joining the walk from coast to coast and celebrating at the same time (rather than on different dates throughout the year). I would love if you would consider joining my team! You can walk wherever you'd like, and we will all be connected. I will walk this year, probably around my neighborhood but that's still TBD. As always, my door will be open for anyone to join. Let's make it a (socially distant) party!

The Lupus Foundation of America is the only national force devoted to solving the mystery of lupus, one of the world’s cruelest, most unpredictable and devastating diseases, while giving caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact. Through a comprehensive program of research, education, and advocacy, we lead the fight to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus.

It’s hard to ask more of you, as so many have helped tremendously already. But I’m not exaggerating when I say that EVERY single dollar helps…more than you know.
