Imagine a day when doctors can say, "There is a cure for lupus". Until that day though, there is work to be done. That's why we are taking action in the fight against lupus. Join us as we participate in the Lupus Foundation of America's Walk to End Lupus Now® to raise critical funds for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States.

Personally, Lupus has affected me in many ways. From being in a coma, to having to go through 3 different types of chemo treatments, to now being on dialysis for the second time, while waiting for a kidney transplant. I have definitely been through quite the roller coaster with Lupus since being diagnosed at the age of 17. I'm only 25 now and still have a long road to go! If you know me, you know I've always tried my best to bring awareness to this disease, because I think it still doesn't get the attention it deserves. It's still pretty unknown in the medical community. For instance, I can't go to some hospitals because they're unsure of how to proceed with me. For this reason, and many more, I hope you're able to donate anything, or even your time by participating in this walk with me! I'd love to have you join my team, Livinwlupus!
