Yes. Kids can get lupus, too!

UCSF Lupus Youth Connect is a support network for Bay Area children, teens & young adults living with lupus. 

The LFA has consistently been an invaluable resource for UCSF's Child & Adolescent Lupus Program since it's inception in 2013. Reliable educational tools like LFA's Take Charge email program and their National Resource Center on Lupus have helped us provide quality education to hundreds of young people newly diagnosed with lupus and their families. We are grateful to be a part of their community and excited to continue in this walk tradition.

In the last several years, the LFA has made intentional efforts to include young people in their educational and advocacy work including our favorite Youth Congress during LFA's annual Advocacy Summit.
