2020 Walk to End Lupus Now National Team

Amy's Angels

Welcome to Amy's Angels Fundraising Page

Amy Pizzi, our daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and teacher was diagnosed with lupus when she was a freshmen in college. Over the years, lupus affected Amy's kidneys, heart and other organs. In spite all of these challenges, Amy moved forward, inspiring us all with her determination to live a life as normal as possible. In 2016, Amy suddenly and tragically died of lupus. She had the ability to light up a room with her smile, laugh, and alluring personality. Amy has left a forever mark on all our lives. We miss her every day.

Every year in October, Amy would quietly ask her family and friends to walk with her in the lupus walk in Cranford, NJ. The anniversary of Amy's passing is October 23, so we walk every year in her honor.
