Dear Friends & Family,
Most of you know My sister LaToya Conyers was a Lupus Warrior until January 16, 2023. Prior to her passing she wanted to participate in the Lupus Walk, but the COVID pandemic prevented her.
These are some of her words.
"I have battled with lupus since the age of 14. As a young girl my body went through so many changes I could not understand, but at 17 it all made since when I was diagnosed. I got through my struggles and it went into remission for over 10 years. Summer of 2017 something triggered the sleeping giant and it began attacking me again like never before. It has been a complete roller coaster and I have often felt alone.
But by god's grace and my praying family, I persevered. But my fight isn't over yet
Imagine a day when doctors can say there is a cure for lupus. Until that day though, there is work to be done. That's why I'm taking action in the fight against lupus."
In her honor, Join our team #LadiesWithStyle&Grace as I participate in Lupus Foundation of America's Walk to End Lupus Now, to raise critical funds for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States.
Will you make a donation to help me reach my personal fundraising goal and support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus? A generous contribution of $25 or $55 can make a definite impact. What's more, if your employer offers a Matching Gift Program to employees, you may be able to double vour contribution with just a little bit of paperwork. Trust me, it's worth the effort!
Every single dollar counts.
