Welcome to Kellsie's Krew!
I dream of the day I am told by my provider, "There is a cure for lupus". Unfortunately, that day is not here yet and there is still a lot of work to be done until myself and all others dealing with Lupus can hear those magical words. My extraordinary Krew is ready to put in the work to do so.
Last year my Krew AMAZED me and raised over $4,000 for my team in the Lupus Foundation of America's Walk to End Lupus Now®!!! These generous funds and support brought the Lupus community closer to hearing that life changing sentence. My support system has never failed me, even before my diagnosis, but last year they turned that support into monetary support that helped raise the critical funds necessary to find a cure for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States. Kellsie’s Krew took action in the fight against Lupus and are back again to continue this fight. I hope I can add even more members to Kellsie’s Krew as I participate in the Lupus Foundation of America's Walk to End Lupus Now® on September 23.
This walk not only draws awareness to this incurable disease, but it allows connections to be made amongst those that live with it and those who love someone with it. The Walk to End Lupus Now provides people affected by lupus and their families the opportunity to come together for one unified purpose: ending Lupus.
