I’m Walking in support of my Friend to END LUPUS NOW. Will you help me?
One of my BEST FRIENDS was DIAGNOSED with LUPUS nearly 15 years ago. Although lupus affects everyone differently, her journey included inflammation of her joints and major organs -- brain, heart, lungs, and kidneys. The inflammation eventually lead to the need for a kidney transplant. By God's grace, she's still here fighting a good fight.
Until there is a cure, there's still work to be done. That's why I am taking action in the fight against lupus. Please help me as I participate in the Lupus Foundation of America's Walk to End Lupus Now® to raise critical funds for my friend and the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States.
If you are unable to join me on Capitol Hill on Saturday, May 11th, please help me by making a secure contribution on my walk page.
I'm asking 20 friends to donate $50 each. If I get 5 people/day, I'll reach my goal in time for the walk this weekend. But please know that I appreciate any and every donation.
Will you be one of my 20? Together, we can solve the cruel mystery of lupus. Thank you for your generosity!
