Please support me in the Walk to End Lupus Now LA
Lupus is very personal for me and my family. I walk in support of people living with Lupus by raising critical funds for research and new treatments. I walk in honor of Dorothy Matilda Butterfield, who lost her battle with Lupus when she was only 43, in gratitude for the years I've had with my children and grandchildren that she did not.
This year is our 10-year anniversary of walking to end Lupus now! Heather and Kerrigan, our co-captains, have become legends in the Lupus Foundation of America, leading us to raise over $320,000 since they formed Matilda Marcher. To honor them and all of you who have supported us, we are reaching toward a $75,000 goal for 2019. That seems impossible considering our year-one fundraising results. But you, our faithful Lupus Warriors have helped us reach our goals each year.
And I ask for your support again -- whatever you can contribute -- in honor of the 100,000+ people living with Lupus in the US, including me and my children. Help us make our 10th annual Walk to End Lupus Now LA our most successful ever.
