It's been a while since we've done one of these walks for lupus. Most of our fundraising focus lately has been on Type 1 Diabetes with Emma, but Team Knaup is rallying again to support the efforts in finding a cure for lupus. In a perfect world, we wouldn't have to deal with either chronic auto-immune disease, but we are not in a perfect world, so here we are.
I'm happy to say that since our last lupus walk, I am doing SO MUCH BETTER. I have worked very closely with many different doctors to heal the mind, body, and soul, and it is paying off. Fewer flares, fewer bad days, more energy, more peace, all around I'm in a better place. And we want to celebrate by walking this year!!
If you are in the area and are not busy Saturday, 21 Sept, please consider walking/jogging with us and wear your Team Knaup shirt or if you do not have one, wear a light teal shirt to show your with us!
