I’m Walking to End Lupus. Will You Join Me?
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis back in 2015. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that attacks my own body’s tissues and organs. Lupus Nephritis means it attacks my kidneys. I am one of the lucky few, whom has a mild case of it. Unfortunately, having a mild case doesn’t mean much; Lupus is an extremely unpredictable disease and can change instantly at any time. The unpredictability of this disease makes it so much more dangerous.
My life consists of endless blood work, self injections, chemo medication, along with two other meds and that's not including the daily pain and fatigue. I'd love to wake up one day and feel free of all of this.
Will you make a donation to help me reach my personal fundraising goal and support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus? ANYTHING donated would he greatly appreciated! Whether its $1, $5, $10, or $20!

* Lupus symptoms can be severe and highly unpredictable and can damage any organ or tissue, from the skin or joints to the heart or kidneys.
* While lupus can strike anyone at any time, 90% of people living with lupus are women. Women of color are at especially high risk.
* Only one drug has ever been developed and approved by the US Food and Drug Administration specifically to treat the disease.
