I’m Walking to End Lupus. Join Me?
I'm a Strong Survivor That's Stomping for This Cure.
Hello...My name is Kellye Scott and I have had lupus since I was 15 years old. Living with lupus at a young age was definitely not easy from going to doctors regularly..from being hospital many times...from taking over 20 pills daily..and most importantly not being recognized by your peers at school with the weight fluctuations..Pain was something I had to learn how to cope with..at times it was so unbearable it would bring tears to my eyes. Dealing with needles poking u..resless nights..sleeping at kitchen table from chest pain..it was so much for me but i managed..
However Lupus isnt the only thing I have sufferd with over these years. As I' ve made it by the grace of god with my testimony, i have kidney disease, suffer fibromyalgia, vertigo, raynauds, degenerative disc..
2019 wasn't a good year for me, to get some horabable news after I went to the Emergency room to find out I had a heart attach because I had artery blockage which resulted to getting 5 stints .
This walk means so much to me every year I take time to collect money to help researchers to find a cure. It would mean a lot to me if u help not just me but everyone who is struggling with this deadly disease..
I have also attached my personal link to those individuals that would like to make donations..
Also if anyone wants to join Kellye's Stompers's please feel free to press link and press join team.
Thanks in advance
Will you make a donation to help me reach my personal fundraising goal and support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus? A generous contribution of $25 or $55 can make a definite impact. What’s more, if your employer offers a Matching Gift Program to employees, you may be able to double your contribution with just a little bit of paperwork. Trust me, it’s worth the effort! Every single dollar counts.
Did you know?
- Lupus is a mysterious and misunderstood autoimmune disease. It strikes without warning, affects each person differently, and has no known causes or cure.
- Lupus symptoms can be severe and highly unpredictable and can damage any organ or tissue, from the skin or joints to the heart or kidneys.
- While lupus can strike anyone at any time, 90% of people living with lupus are women. Women of color are at especially high risk.
- Only one drug has ever been developed and approved by the US Food and Drug Administration specifically to treat the disease.
Together, we can solve the cruel mystery of lupus. Thank you for your generosity!
