I am joining thousands of people across the country for the Walk to End Lupus Now®. I hope that you will join me either by lacing up your sneakers or by donating to my fundraising page.
Come join me!
This walk is an inspirational journey that I love being a part of and supporting. Hearing the stories of the warriors and seeing the comradery is so heartfelt and uplifting knowing their struggles and knowing we are all working towards one goal, a cure to end the suffering of these individuals and my Joy. Joy was diagnosed luckily right away after the birth of her 2nd son, my grandson Alex. We were lucky that our family doctor didn't give up trying to figure out what was wrong. After being diagnosed almost 17 years ago, she keeps fighting for herself and her family. After speaking with doctors at the walk, we are even luckier that my grandsons, Noah and Alex, weren't affected during her pregnancies to the extent of having major disabilities.
Join my team and share in this experience with me.

Did you know?
*Lupus is a mysterious and misunderstood autoimmune disease. It strikes without warning, affects each person differently, and the causes and cure are still being researched.
*Lupus symptoms can be severe and highly unpredictable and can damage any organ or tissue, from the skin or joints to the heart or kidneys.
*While lupus can strike anyone at any time, 90% of people living with lupus are women. Women of color are at especially high risk.
*Lupus is hard to diagnose, but the Lupus Foundation of America is working to make life easier and more comfortable for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States.
Together, we can solve the cruel mystery of lupus. Thank you for your generosity!
Much love and thanks,
