It's been a year since I was diagnosed with lupus. While it’s been a challenging journey, I've had unconditional support and privilege from my loved ones and support system.
Unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky as I am, so I am raising money to help those fighting to be seen, heard and supported in their journey with lupus.
What is lupus?
Lupus is an "invisible" chronic autoimmune disease that causes the body's immune system to attack its own healthy tissues and cells, including skin, joints, heart, organs, blood and brain. There is currently not a cure for lupus.
Did you know?
Lupus is hard to diagnose, but the Lupus Foundation of America is working to make life easier and more comfortable for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States.
Together, we can solve the cruel mystery of lupus. Thank you for your generosity and continued support!
