Late last year, after many months of struggling to understand what was causing troubling symptoms, I was diagnosed with lupus (SLE - systemic lupus erythematosus). It's been an up and down journey since the diagnosis, but I am glad to share that I am learning to manage things, and I am just very grateful for the help of wonderful doctors and a loving and supportive community of the best family and friends anyone could ask for.
On October 27th, I am joining thousands of people across the country for the Walk to End Lupus Now®. I hope that you will join me, either by lacing up your sneakers for the walk in San Francisco, by donating to my fundraising page, or simply by sending your positive vibes our way on the day of the walk. Your support, in any form, is deeply appreciated.
You can make a difference by donating to help me reach my personal fundraising goal and support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus! Your contribution, in any amount, can make a definite impact. Did you know?Lupus is a mysterious and misunderstood autoimmune disease.
