Welcome to Purplegeckos team fundraising page.

Thank you for visiting our team page! I'm Lisa Sweeney, the captain of Team Purplegeckos and a committee member for Walk to End Lupus Now Delaware. Contributing time to this cause and connecting with other teams and committee members brings me immense fulfillment.

My journey with Lupus began in January 2008. I've made significant strides with the unwavering support of friends, family, and this organization. Managing Lupus symptoms often feels like a full-time job, with some days proving more challenging than others. Unfortunately, Lupus runs in my family; I've witnessed loved ones, including an aunt, uncle, cousins, and friends, navigate the complexities of this autoimmune disease.

The Lupus Foundation of America's efforts are truly impactful, and Team Purplegeckos is proud to contribute by raising both funds and awareness.

Will you join our team and help us reach our fundraising goal? You can walk or be a virtual participant.

You’ll support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by Lupus. You can also help by making a secure contribution on our walk page. Every single dollar counts!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who plays a role in realizing the vision of a world without Lupus.
