I am making my mark on lupus!
On June 18, 2014 my life was forever changed when I was diagnosed with Lupus. After almost two years of fighting for my kidney function I got into remission. Three years after my diagnosis I completed my first ever half marathon running on Team Make Your Mark in Seattle! I cannot describe the physical and emotional effort it took to finish that race. I am running the Seattle Rock n Roll half marathon again this year and raising funds to help fight this disease for myself, for my cousin, in memory of my Grandmother who lost her fight against lupus... and for everyone else suffering from this disease. Any donation, big or small, is appreciated!
Join me and support the mission of the Lupus Foundation of America! My goal is to raise critical funds for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States. Your donation will help me reach my personal fundraising goal and support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus!
