Lupus & You: Baltimore Empowerment Conference
Join us for the Lupus & You: Baltimore Empowerment Conference. This free regional empowerment conference is designed to educate and engage lupus warriors, care partners, families and friends. Get the latest information on living and coping with lupus from noted experts and make meaningful community connections.
On June 15th, we will gather in Baltimore for a full morning of educational presentations from local rheumatologists and amazing local lupus warriors.

- Disease modification for SLE Patients: Why it Matters for Health Equity – Dr. Ashira Blazer
- Lupus and the Brain – Dr. Jamal Mikdashi
- Updates and Importance of Clinical Trails – Dr. Violeta Rus
- Lupus Nephritis Panel
- and finally, we will hear from amazing lupus warriors for "Getting Real About Your Lupus - A Lupus Warrior Panel"
Please arrive at 8:30am for a complimentary light breakfast and refreshments before the program begins at 9:00am.
How to find the lecture hall: Enter through the Health Science Facility (HSF) at 685 W Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21201. Upon arrival, take the stairs and/or elevator to the 2nd floor and to the Medical School Training Facility (MSTF) Building, where you will find Leadership Hall! We will have staff and volunteers to assist – don’t worry!
Parking: There are many options to park in Baltimore, but there is a garage named Baltimore Grand Parking Garage located at 5 N Paca Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. There are ADA spaces available as well. There is a parking fee based on time in the garage. (3 hours or less is $10, 3 hours – 5 hours is $12) Please plan ahead to arrive on time for the event!
