Rosemarie H. Marques, 80, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Hackensack Meridan Hospital in Old Bridge. Born in Manhattan, NY, she later made her home in Sayreville, NJ, where she built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
Rosemarie was predeceased by her parents, Salvatore and Helen LaGrande, her beloved husband, Antonio Marques, and her son-in-law, Timothy Roberts.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Marie Elena Roberts, and her son, Robert Clarkson, and his wife, Danette. Rosemarie was a proud grandmother to BriAnne and her fiancé, Stephen, Sean, Zoe, Clayton, Alexis, Lox, Shiloh, and Miranda. She is also survived by her dear brother, Christopher LaGrande, and his wife, Suzanne, as well as her sister, Salena Desiano, and her husband, Christopher. Rosemarie leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, including Lisa and Sonny, Gina and Stephen, Nicole, Jen and Jesse, Sammy, AJ, Katie, Zach and Carmela, along with extended family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, February 13, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. A prayer service will be held during the visitation at 3: 45 pm.
Rosemarie’s cremation will be private. A memorial service and interment of her ashes will be announced at a later date.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
